Adult Ed Classes

Essentials with Michael Berg. The Essentials course will unpack the great truths of our faith, including topics such as God’s Word, the Trinity, & more. We will focus on what is important as you discover more about your faith and what is essential as ECO Presbyterians. This course is both for those new to the faith as well as long-time disciples who wish to dive deeper into what it means to be a Christian and a Presbyterian in ECO. Letters of John with Greg Manship. Jesus of Nazareth is the one and only Son of God. He is the Father incarnate: The Light and Word of Life Who brings Love into the world that through faith we may remain in Him and He in us. BUT: In our time just as in the time of the Apostle John, our faith and fellowship are continuously challenged by liars, antichrists, and the things of the world. John wrote his three letters to the beloved of God to edify, encourage, and empower with the Spirit, Who is Truth, so that they and we would remain in His love. Join this class for an in-depth study of the three letters of John, picking up with Second John and continuing through Third John. NOTE: Our first official class meeting will be a review of First John, so if you are new to the class, you will not be left behind! Contact Greg at bioethicsrev@gmail.com

Join us September 10th through December 17th, for discussions, teaching time and intercessory prayer focusing on the book of James. Subjects we will discuss include hearing and doing the word, taming the tongue, patience in suffering, prayer of faith and much more. Our materials “James - a 12-week study” come from the “Knowing the Bible” series, published by Crossway (available in the church office for $7).
