Rev. Jennifer Cummins - Certified Transitional Pastor/Head of Staff
Jennifer began in January of 2024. She assumes the roles of Transitional Pastor and Head of Staff. However, her primary duty is to provide the entire congregation with the vitality necessary for our congregation to flourish while preparing us for our next Called Pastor. Reverend Cummins has proven experience as a transitional pastor which follows a very successful career which included time spent as a Senior Pastor and a Pastor/Elder trainer.
I am blessed to be a part of Northminster alongside my wife Kira and our daughter Magdalene. I grew up 45 minutes south of Northminster on our family farm outside of Manito. I was born and baptized in the church and I really started to sense that God was calling me into vocational ministry in high school. I have degrees from Wheaton College and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and my passion is to see lives transformed by the gospel here at Northminster.
Brian Nelson – Director of Business & Operations
I'm a born and raised Peorian who graduated from Richwoods High School in 2003 and am a proud homeowner. Music is a huge passion of mine and I started playing guitar when I was 14. Movies are also a huge influence and, in my opinion, the 80s was hands-down the finest decade in filmmaking history! Additionally, I deeply love my family and close friends. God saved me over five years ago from alcohol dependency and now He has brought me to Northminster. I am so honored and blessed to be a Covenant Partner, member of the Worship Band, and the Director of Church Business and Operations.
Jake Turner – Worship Director
I have a big heart for people and a bigger heart for God! I have had the privilege of doing ministry for over 17 years and come with a variety of skill sets and knowledge from all my years of service to the King. I have a huge passion for worship and music, and now I have the privilege to express my gifts here at NPC as the Director of Music. I would not be complete without my incredible family! My wife, Jessica, keeps me grounded and steady and is a great balance to my life, alongside my three incredible kids! Josiah, Isabella, and Ezekiel. This church has a lot of love and coming to visit, you'll discover the welcoming presence of God from His people
Steve Rollins – Interim Financial Assistant
accounting@northminster.usSteve and his wife, Kathie, became Covenant Partners of Northminster in 2010. Since then they have become in various ministries. Steve left his corporate job to work in ministry and after retiring from EPIC (Empowering People. Inspiring Capabilities) he started working part-time at NPC.
Emily Blumenberg – Office Manager
I grew up in Fairview Heights, IL. I received my undergraduate degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies from Southwest Missouri State University, now Missouri State University. I practiced as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist for over a decade assisting individuals with disabilities in various settings. I received my MBA from Webster University in St. Louis. I am a garden junkie! I love the outdoors, traveling, down time, and family time. My husband, Ben, and I have a son, Brayden and a daughter, Abigail and a spirited boxer mix, Scout. Our family stays active with visiting family, scouts, and sports.
Karen Ring - Admin Assistant
I started working at Northminster in 1996. I took a few years off around the time of the pandemic to help take care of aging parents and grandchildren. I started back in 2024. I am passionate about what God is doing at Northminster and look forward to seeing where He will lead us in the next few years.
Lydia Renick - Nursery Coordinator
Lydia grew up at Northminster and enjoys spending time taking care of the Nursery and insuring our littlest ones have a safe space with loving people to show them the love of Jesus.
