Love of Christ Challenge
Northminster Presbyterian Church exists to represent the love of Christ.
One way we do that is by serving our neighbors with genuine agape care. To get everyone focused on this goal, we’ve issued a challenge to our congregation. The Love of Christ Challenge: We are asking every person connected with Northminster to tangibly do something to represent the love of Christ by serving others (those who are not part of our current church family) in the name of Jesus.
There are many ways you can represent the Love of Christ in your neighborhood, community and around the world. The way you choose to do that is completely up to you. You are not limited, so feel free to do many acts of love, if you are so moved.
Do you have a volunteer opportunity that you would like to share with the church. Complete this form and we will post the opportunites on our site.
We want to hear your stories about how God touched you and those you serve through this challenge. Keeping in mind that our main purpose is to glorify God – not ourselves – we are providing several ways for you to tell us about your experience . . .
There will be collection boxes at each end of the building into which you can put brief accounts of how you answered the challenge.
Email your stories, pictures and videos.
Like the “Love of Christ Challenge” Facebook page, and share your story there.
There will be areas designated at each end of the church where we will post some of the stories and pictures, and to which you can add a story yourself. Please use #loveofchristchallenge in your posts
We are seeking to ignite the Love of Christ in our entire church family. How will you answer the Love of Christ Challenge? We can’t wait to see!
